Manage savings thresholds

Use Manage Thresholds in Optimization Hub to configure minimum monthly savings values. The drawer separates Idle and Rightsizing thresholds. This walkthrough adds a Compute threshold under Rightsizing, then changes and removes it. The example uses the dollar amount displayed by the form.

Add a threshold

  1. Open Optimization Hub, then select Manage Thresholds.
  2. Under Rightsizing, select Add Threshold.
  3. In New Threshold, choose Compute as the Recommendation Category.
  4. Enter 12.34 in Minimum Monthly Savings, checking the currency shown beside the amount. In the initial untouched form, Save is disabled; entering the example amount enables it.
  5. Select Save. Confirm the success feedback and the saved Compute threshold in the drawer. Reopen Manage Thresholds to check the saved amount.

Edit the saved amount

Open the saved threshold's edit action. Check the category and current amount before changing it. For this example, change 12.34 to 23.45, then select Save. The unchanged edit form has Save disabled; changing the value enables the update.

Confirm the updated amount in the threshold list.

Remove a threshold

Use the delete action for the intended threshold. Check its category against the list before confirming: the confirmation may show a rounded amount. In this example the saved 23.45 threshold appeared as $23 in the confirmation. The dialog warns that deletion cannot be undone.

Select Cancel to keep the threshold, or confirm deletion to remove it. After confirmation, check the success feedback and reopen the drawer to verify that the threshold is absent. If it was the section's only threshold, the section returns to No active thresholds.
