MSP Custom Branding
Learn how Custom Logo Branding in Ternary enables managed service providers (MSPs) to apply their company logo across the platform and automatically propagate branding to all child tenants.
Custom Logo Branding allows MSPs to replace the default Ternary logo with their own branding across the platform. Once configured, the custom logo is applied to the MSP parent tenant and automatically cascades to all associated child tenants. This ensures consistent brand representation across navigation, billing statements, and customer-facing views.
How is logo branding configured in the Ternary MSP Platform?
Logo branding is managed from the MSP Customer Management section and is configured using externally hosted logo URLs.
To upload and apply a custom logo:
- Navigate to MSP Customer Management and open the Account Logo tab.
- Provide publicly accessible URLs for the required logo assets.
- Submit the configuration and refresh the platform to apply changes.
- Branding updates take effect immediately and apply across the MSP parent tenant and all child tenants.
What logo assets are required?
Ternary requires two logo variants to ensure proper rendering across different areas of the platform:
Square logo A square-format logo used in the collapsed left-hand navigation and the upper-left corner of billing statements for child tenants. Recommended aspect ratio is 1:1 and common formats include stacked logos or favicons.
Here is how the logo will appear:
Horizontal logo
A horizontal logo used in the expanded left-hand navigation pane. The recommended aspect ratio is 4:1.

Both logos must be hosted at publicly accessible URLs, typically sourced from the organization’s website or CDN.
Which file formats are supported?
Supported file formats include PNG, JPG, and SVG.
For optimal appearance in dark mode, JPG files are recommended. PNG files with transparency may not render consistently depending on background color and theme settings.
